assumption

i think today is the day of assumption - i assume it is....i seem to remember being in france on august 16th in 1994 or thereabouts and everything being shut down, less because it was sunday but because it was assumption. i have no idea what it means, but since I live my life assuming things, i thought it would be a good day to resume posting...oh crap. today is the 17th, ins't it. well there goes THAT premise! see what happens when you assume?? how presumptive of me...see what happens when you don't have to go to an office and don't live by a clock or a calendar??? oh well....better luck next year.
